Internet and lost dog

I was so disconnected last week because my internet was down for almost 1 full week! What did we ever do without the 'net? I went to look up some stuff for our homeschool and couldn't get on and had to actually find a "real" encyclopedia instead of looking it up online! I am so glad to be back online and in touch with my bloggy friends!

We have a new puppy in our family and her name is "Princess" take a look at how beautiful she is! She has the prettiest blue eyes but they show up red in all of the pictures so she looks like a demon dog! She was wandering through our neighborhood and we put up lost puppy signs and called the animal shelter and gave them the info on her and not one person has called about her!

Will Rogers Birthplace

This is the birthplace of Will Rogers and although it's not actually in Owasso it's only about 10 min. away and we love to take a picnic and feed the animals. It's named the Dog Iron Ranch and you can feed chicken, goats, mules, and horses. It's right on the lake and has a spectacular view. Over the next couple of days I will be showing diferent photos that I have taken on several visits to the ranch.

Pumpkin carving

We carved some pumpkins for Halloween and I just wanted to share them with you!

One is a spaceship from Star Wars and the other says BOO!

Fall foliage

It's that time of year again when the leaves are all changing colors. I just love all the rusty reds, firey oranges, golden yellows and a little of the summer greens. A chill is in the air and it's the perfect time of year for a hot chocolate out on the deck at night!

Owasso Band Homecoming

Last Thursday night was the homecoming for Owasso Band. Our friend Taylor was the homecoming queen and she asked our kids to be the flower girl and the crown bearer. Here are some of the pix!

"Tuck-cedo"

This is my son Kylan and he's going to be an escort for his sister at the Owasso Band Homecoming coronation on Thursday night. He said he couldn't wait to wear his tuxedo but he called it a "tuck-cedo" and he told his sis that they looked like they were getting married! LOL
